Early 2000's DNB in North America

I was from western New York (Rochester) so I was lucky to be influenced regionally by some big Canadian and American artists running events, labels, record stores, etc. It’s not my place to tell the story of North American DNB but there is a strong history. the originators of the scene are still around and they built the framework before I started back in the early 2000’s. People throw around the word “Legend” a lot but those are the true legends and the true renegades.. I’ve noticed a lot of people talking about the history of drum n bass lately and it would be great to see some stories about those early days on this side of the pond too! there’s some sick fucking tunes as well of course that sound fresh considering how much time has passed.

But I digress, I have some new music coming out on Friday and thought I’d do a little retrospective on my journey as an artist for those that don’t know.. and those that do might inform some🍻 a lot of this video was pulled off of Mini DV I had stuffed away in my closet what a pain but with it!
