Hey everybody! Welcome to THROWBACK TRACKS - the YouTube series where I play demos of songs I wrote with other artists in mind and you let me know if you could see them performing it or if they'd work better for someone else.
First up is a song I wrote back in 2009 called "Love Me For Today" that I wrote with Kelly Clarkson in mind. A couple of years prior, Kelly had released the introspective My December and while there were some incredible tracks on the album (shoutout to "Sober"!!!!), it underperformed due to lack of promotion, and I had a feeling her label wanted to get her back to her "Since U Been Gone" & "Behind These Hazel Eyes" roots.
