🖤 On October 8, 2011, Roger Williams passed away from complications of pancreatic cancer. At his public memorial service, held at the Nixon Library, his band of fifteen years gave a very moving "Missing Man Formation" tribute to the man they respected and loved like a father. The band accompanied Roger's recordings of, "The Rose", "Somewhere in Time", and "Autumn Leaves" beside Roger's Steinway and unoccupied piano bench.
Many thanks to Roger's beloved band of brilliant musicians: Ed Finn on guitar, Michael George on bass, Gary Nesteruk on synth, David Johnson on percussion, and Jimmy Carnelli on drums, for their tribute and for sharing their talent, dedication, and friendship to Roger.
