Y’all! I still can’t get over it! I got to perform the title track from my new record, FAR COUNTRY for the very first time at the The Ryman Auditorium !!!! The Mother Church feels like the heart and soul of our city….so many songs and stories have filled that room over the years, so it was such a gift to be able to perform the first song from my next record for the very first time LIVE! I poured my heart and soul into Far Country, and singing it out in that room is a memory I’ll never forget. I felt like I was gonna fly right off the stage and out the stained glass windows in the back!
Grateful to Jessica Amerson who captured this special moment for me and to so many folks from my label Capitol, who were there to hear me perform this special song for the first time!
