If you’re like me, spiritual growth is at the top of your list of annual new year’s resolutions. The ministry that my dad and I have, POPWE, wants to help you in that area with this video devotional series called Truth Be Told. For the next few weeks, we will be taking a look at some of the lies the enemy tries to get us to believe, and we will be reminded of God’s truth that speaks louder than those lies. I hope this series will inspire you and challenge you to tell a more authentic story with your life in 2021. Remember, nobody’s perfect. God sees your whole story and He still loves you so much! Lie #6: “You are what they say you are.”
I remember the first time someone used my insecurities against me. Starting as a child, I never looked in the mirror the same way again and it continued as I grew up. I wish I could go back and remind myself of Genesis 1:27. Hand your insecurities over to God and remind yourself that once you are real, you can’t be ugly.
