Atlantic broke ground with me at a time when young female singer/songwriter/producers were not a thing and I am eternally grateful.
It’s not always easy but boy is it worth it to still be doing it now… Mainstream music but with an Indie spirit to keep it pure and on my own terms.
There were literally under a handful of females in those conference rooms and often it was my late great Momager Diane going toe to toe with the boys in those meetings and back offices and grand corner offices. A lot of love and support at Atlantic. And some uphill battles. I remember it well vividly !
