A message from Us: This album has been a labor of love for over 4 years. Some songs happened instantly, like when Michael wrote “Anesthesia” 30 minutes after surgery. Other songs took years, like “Better Off”… which was re-recorded 4 different times at various tempos since 2018. The common thread here though is that these songs authentically represent who we are at this very moment. Every song on the album is there because we wanted it to be, not because it should be or because a label exec told us to. We spent years writing.. months recording.. weeks editing.. and even days talking about the order of songs…. All in hopes that you might listen and that you might feel something.

To the team:

Producer / Mixing : Michael Alvarado produced every single song. We started calling him an “audio surgeon” by the end of it, because his session files had 1,000 tracks and a gazillion edits. He also recorded 90% of the instruments you’re hearing (keys, bass, drums, guitar, etc.) and he mixed 7 out of the 10 tracks.

Album Art / Photos: Sean Martin listened to the album in full and painted the cover from scratch, in real time, based on what he felt. The yellow image you’re seeing is the inner creativity of his mind at work. He then paired his art with pictures he took of us and he singlehandedly brought this album to life.-

Vocal Engineer: Sadaharu Yagi's minimal touches can make a good vocal sound like a great one.

-Mix Consultant: Nathan Thomas answered countless calls, texts and voice memos about every iteration of each mix. His creativity saved us so much time and gave Michael the confidence to improve as a mixing engineer.-

Additional Mixing: @andrewkimsound “Walking Outside” and @smoffitt13 for “Sway” and “Get on Your Feet and Dance”. Thank you both for your excellent attention to detail!

Mastering: Dan Millice thinks about the bigger picture, how one song effects the next, and prioritizes the listener experience. From being college classmates to working on albums together, this is truly a full circle moment.

Lastly, we had friends and fam who helped us with the album art and music along the way and we are SO grateful for you! (Shane, Amos, Bam, Jon and Bjorn!)
