One (U2 cover) - Nerina Pallot
I totally did not want to do a U2 cover because I thought everyone will expect me to pick a U2 song for the Dublin show and no, I have more imagination than that. I definitely won't do a U2 cover that would be too obvious.
Yet here we are.
It's obvious because the Holy Trinity of Irish Export is basically: Guinness, James Joyce and U2. And 'One' is, IMHO, one of THE greatest songs ever written (even Rolling Stone magazine agrees with me on this).
I steered away a bit from the original on this one. Hope you don't mind.
