We played Take Cover in the Iowa State Capital building. The team from the office of the Secretary of State continues to take the cause of trafficked and exploited people. They have set up Iowa Safe at Home, a program that protects the identities of survivors of violence and trafficking. It’s a really smart way to keep survivors of trafficking’s home addresses safe from potential abusers.
In addition to the Iowa Safe at Home program, they are working on training for Iowa businesses in identifying and preventing trafficking. We’re so thankful for the work that people like this in the government are doing for the sake of freedom and justice.
