Taylor Swift Jokes That Signed 'Folklore' CDs May Come With Hairs From Her Beloved Cats

Taylor Swift fans receiving a hand-signed copy of her latest album, Folklore, could be in a for a special treat.

The 30-year-old pop star took to Twitter on Saturday (Oct. 17) to humorously inform her fans that their forthcoming signed Folklore CD booklets could include a few random hairs from her beloved cats Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson and Benjamin Button.

"Along with the signed cd, some lucky purchasers of these items may even receive complimentary cat hair stuck inside the pages," Swift captioned a photo of the signed booklets alongside her lounging cat. "Or the aromatic scent of white wine I occasionally spill while signing."

Dozens of Swifties replied to the singer's tweet, sharing photos of themselves -- and their own cats -- alongside signed copies they've already received of Folklore.

Swift has given her diehard fans many different ways to enjoy the critically-acclaimed album she recorded in secret during quarantine, releasing the physical deluxe edition of Folklore with eight alternate covers, as well as offering up "Chapter" versions to streaming services in which she re-works the album's songs into new forms based on dramatic themes.
