Here's the Heart-Warming Reason Kelly Clarkson Covered Norah Jones' 'Don't Know Why'

Kelly Clarkson performed a comforting rendition of Norah Jones' Grammy-winning record "Don't Know Why" for Tuesday's (Oct. 20) episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show.

"My heart is drenched in wine/ But you'll be on my mind/ Forever," she sweetly serenaded the refrain with her band Y'all backing her.

Viewers found out exactly why she performed it for "Kellyoke." One fan with a virtual house seat, Stephanie from Baltimore, asked Clarkson to cover the classic because her first-ever concert was a Norah Jones show that her mom brought her to when she was 12 years old. Her mom and bridesmaids later walked down the aisle to "Don't Know Why" at Stephanie's wedding last year.

"Oh my gosh, that's beautiful!" the talk show host exclaimed while pictures from the wedding appeared onscreen.
