Jennifer Lopez Teases New Music 'Just Around the Corner!'

Jennifer Lopez posted a picture with producer Ryan Tedder over the weekend in which she promised that new music is "just around the corner."

The snap, in which Lopez is sporting dark red lips and a messy up hairdo alongside the OneRepublic leader and veteran songwriter/producer -- rocking a black Mad Tasty hat -- doesn't offer much more detail about what the duo are cooking up, but Lopez seems pretty psyched.

"Can u feeeeeel it... new music just around the corner!!" Lopez wrote.

It would be a welcome return for Lopez, who has only released a remix of "If You Had My Love" so far this year, as fans wait for her to announce a release date for her as-yet-untitled ninth studio album. Lopez's last full-length was 2014's A.K.A., which featured the singles "I Luh Ya Papi," "First Love" and "Booty."

In July, J.Lo revealed that she's working on some new music with Maluma as well, via a set of photos posted on their Instagrams. Lopez captioned her photos with what seemed like part of the lyrics to a song. “Pase lo que pase ‘toy pa’ ti,” which translated to, “whatever happens, I’m with you.” “Are you ready?” she asked her JLovers on social media, with Maluma adding "oh, and we're recording a hit."

In addition to their upcoming song, Lopez and Maluma will co-star in the forthcoming rom-com Marry Me, where the Latin star will play one Lopez's love interest. According to Lopez, Marry Me will include new music on its soundtrack from both her and Maluma. "I did an album with this movie, so there are all new songs, new music with it, so it's exciting," she said earlier this year on the The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. "I have six to eight songs, and Maluma does two or three."
