Happy Birthday to the Bubu King!
Today would have been his 60th birthday. He died too young.
Throughout the month of January, we’d like to pay tribute and celebrate Janka Nabay by sharing some of the many great things he created through the years. For the rest of the month on Bandcamp, we’ll be offering both of his LPs as a bundle for $32.
Here is a moment when Basque filmmaker Inigo Garayo visited Janka at his home in 2014. At the time, Janka had been moving around a lot and just settled into a new place outside Washington D.C. Inigo went onto make a short film about Janka, where he opened up about some of these struggles too.
