if you’ve listened to my album head noise, you would have heard ‘why did you leave?’ in the middle of the record. i’ve been trying to string the right words together to talk about this song but it always feels so wrong & like i can never say the right thing. i guess that’s why i wrote it. it was one of the hardest songs to record on the album & i still struggle to listen to it sometimes. in saying that, recording it is a memory i hold close to me, especially getting to sing it with @super.flames 🖤

i filmed this with lachie at the start of the year. i hope that this song can be a source of comfort & i hope that you always know you’re never alone in this world. x
