Low Again is all about those moments of weakness when youāre feeling a bit low and a beer (or whatever your drink of choice is) and a cigarette offer comfort.
The idea sprung from an old voice memo I found on my phone from 2018 when I just flushed my New Year's resolutions down the toilet by starting to drink and smoke again. It was not so much a disappointment in myself at that moment, but more of a realization that I still was craving these things to get me through those low moments. Itās about not being too hard on yourself in times of weakness.
This is one of those songs that I made in a day, on pure intuition. This rarely happens, but once it does itās always special. Iām very proud of the result. I feel itās fresh and different, but still sounds like me.
