Laura Branigan - Biography Special Interview [cc] - The Start Of Something Big (1985)

Laura Branigan interviewed on "The Start of Something Big", a special TV show that features celebrity guests discussing their beginnings, the secrets of successful people who made it big, and the fascinating origins of everyday people and events. The series premiered in January 1985. In this episode they featured a brief bio of Laura from her beginnings in performing arts to her present with statements by Gene Bissell, her high school music teacher who encouraged her from a young age to discover and develop her talent, as well as words by Ahmet Ertegun, founder of Atlantic Records, who hired her and was her first co-producer.
Shot in the Image Recording Studio on 1020 N. Sycamore Ave (preciously called Allen Zentz Recording, where Michael Jackson's "Off The Wall" was recorded). This interview took place in the studio during the early stages of the upcoming, yet untitled 4th album. Of course, that album was "Hold Me".
I had to edit a short segment of her "Solitaire" music video to prevent the full video from being blocked due to a copyright claim.
The unreleased song she's singing was another song written by Michael Bolton/Doug James team, "Living Without Your Love" later recorded by Eric Carmen in the same studio Laura's recording it in this clip.
