'Silent Night' is one of Paul Kelly's favourite carols, written a little over 200 years ago. The story goes that the hymn was composed on guitar, instead of the organ which was flooded from the nearby river, giving the song its unmistakeable "swag" or "sway" feeling.
Originally sung in German, Paul Kelly honours this with the help of Alice Keath, who leads one verse in its traditional language.
