In my mind I see the art piece we created for ZADDY as what I’ll term METAFLAT. Directly connected to and Inspired by SUPERFLAT movement artists such as Chicho Aoshima, Takashi Murakami & Aya Takano but equally inspired by the metaverse and it’s technologies that allowed us to create this AR work of art for ZADDY.
Over the course of our collaborative history in each era Chewii and I have always had an element of zany & animated visual branding doing videos like “Punoni” & “Parle Moi”and for this piece as a Director and artist I wanted to fully bring 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐰𝐢𝐢’s bubbling and shining personality to an animated character without sacrificing her essence. Via the power of a AR face tracking, VFX and 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐰𝐢𝐢’s magnificent closet we were able to create a work we’re proud to present to the World and the Metaverse.
