This animated short that explores an unprecedented slice of time and change for The Beach Boys — 1972. At the time, The Beach Boys — Carl Wilson, Mike Love, Brian Wilson, Al Jardine, Dennis Wilson — had set sail on their greatest trip yet, far away from plaid jackets and striped button-down shirts of the surf culture era. The band sought inspiration from the most unlikely of places in a way that knew no bounds. The result of which included rebuilding their entire California studio inside a barn outside Amsterdam, bringing in Ricky Fataar and Blondie Chaplin of The Flames, and testing out the acoustics of Carnegie Hall at a legendary performance. https://TheBeachBoys.lnk.to/SailOnSailorID
