Emphis and I started working together during the pandemic, when it didn't matter where you lived in order to collaborate. Emphis lives in Bulgaria, and I live in Big Sur, CA, USA. It worked so wonderfully back then, so I decided to reach out again for my new record, Messy. She picked the title song as the one she'd most like to perform. As always, a huge thanks to this beautiful soul and brilliant talent for interpreting my music.
