I present to you my all-new, stripped down recording of “Love The Way You Lie Part III.” Link in bio. This is the first single off my forthcoming greatest hits album. I never thought I’d be at the place in my career when it felt appropriate to do a “greatest hits,” but after having to sell my catalog last year, I felt compelled to re-record my biggest songs and reclaim some ownership in them. This week felt like the right time to drop this one, as it’s been 10 years since I released my original demo of the song… also, in the spirit of nostalgia, as queen @rihanna will grace the Super Bowl stage this Sunday. This song literally saved my life… I went from being a total failure in the music game to having written a #1 song almost overnight, which created a domino effect of opportunity for me that still continues to this day. Huge thanks to @AlexDaKidVEVO for believing in me when I was just a broke girl in a cabin in the woods, #JenniferBlakeman for making that introduction, @eminem for cutting this song and so much more… Riri for taking the song to another stratosphere… and to all the fans who have listened and supported for so many years… y’all made my dreams come true.
