My brother, an amazing emcee by the name of Ozay Moore (a.k.a Othello of LightHeaded) was coming to my house in Ypsilanti, Michigan for a session. While I was waiting for him to show up, I started working on this beat. As soon as he got to the house, Ozay grabbed his camera and started recording - which I'm glad he did. In this video, he caught me sharing a little bit of my process of making beats using Adobe Audition 1.5 on PC - which was my favorite version of that software. All of my beats were made "cut and paste" style using my cpu mouse. It wasn't until six years after this video, I finally bought a Maschine MK1 and started using the drum pads to make beats!
