I can write essays on her artistry and how profoundly she mentored me to push my vocal boundaries as a teenager.
Her tone, her range, clarity in runs, her songwriting and her voice modulation of chest to head voice and falsetto are par excellence.
I rarely dare to sing Mariah songs as i truly feel only Mariah can do mariah but consider this an appreciation impromptu jam in the honour of my Mentor @mariahcarey
