Back at it again, this incredible duality of high energy and heavy 808’s is upon us. IAMDDB allows herself to explore her new and updated version of gothic infused trap - a version of DDB we haven’t yet been exposed to!
We see a vocal performance that is very different to what DDB normally presents. With harsher messaging, rawer delivery, DDB floats through this moody universe, reminding us that she stands by her integrity and that her soul cannot be bought by anything worldly; especially not money. It’s quite refreshing to hear a black woman stand in her power and call out all of the toxic masculinity that is so accustomed to talking recklessly about women - Kounting Chickens is checkmate; its DDBs turn to talk her ish!
With a fierce high fashion visual, collaborating with fashion designers/stylists Jennifer + Jasmine Mcking, IAMDDB is back and does not intend to go anywhere anytime soon! This one needs to be heard on full blast!
