Part gallery opening, part late-night telethon, part record release party, Opening Night will include a first peek at Sylvan Esso's new song “Numb” via a choreographed dance by Emma Portner. Sylvan Esso will also perform exclusive live versions of Free Love songs “Rooftop Dancing,” “Free,” and “Ferris Wheel.” There will be a DJ set from Merrill Garbus of Tune-Yards, artwork by Nathaniel Russell, a discussion with legendary NYC street photographer Cheryl Dunn (who directed the “Rooftop Dancing” video), an improvised modular set from Nick using sounds from the album, and more.
