BRAND’S NEW VENTURE IS A RARE FIND
Country music star, Adam Brand does his part moving towards a green future

For over two decades the name Adam Brand has been synonymous with Australian country music. It was the uncertainty of a global pandemic that drove the chart-topping country music star to a passion project that impacts the way we live and work, as an ambassador for Victory Metals.

When the world shut its doors during the COVID-19 pandemic, Adam Brand, a once thriving musician suddenly found himself in unfamiliar territory without a stage to perform and the prospect of losing everything he built for his young family. It was a decision to pack up and journey around Australia in search of a brighter future for his family that would ultimately lead him to an unexpected territory: the Rare Earth Elements (REE) industry after originally being on the hunt for Gold.

“As a successful artist who has had a blessed working life in the music industry, the pandemic put a grinding halt to my bread and butter. For the first time I was contemplating making a living on a shovel or in a truck,” Adam Brand says.

“It was an unsettling position to be in. I was a nervous father looking to keep my family safe and as a result decided to embark on a journey around Australia - a decision that would change my life,”

“In doing so, I found so much more than I could have imagined, I discovered we hold the key to a brighter future in our own backyard, in Rare Earth Elements found and sourced ethically in my birth state of Western Australia.” Adam added.

Inspired by the team at Victory Metals and their mission to reduce Australia’s reliance on imported critical metals, Adam Brand has enthusiastically joined them as their Ambassador.

“It was a no-brainer joining Victory Metals as an ambassador, they’re exploring REEs on our doorstep in the hopes of changing our future. Rare Earth Elements are vital in MRI technology giving our loved ones a second chance, dysprosium drives wind turbines ensuring a greener environment, and neodymium is in the fibre optic cables delivering high speed internet to people like my nanna in outback Australia.'' Adam says.

“Above all, I want to leave a positive future for our children, a world where they can choose to be a doctor, soldier, mum, chef or a scientist with the technology they need right at their fingertips.”

On the announcement of Adam Brand as an ambassador for Victory Metals, CEO and Executive Director Brendan Clark says:

“Adam is a down to earth Aussie with passion for our people and I believe Adam will bring great awareness by showcasing the potential of Australia’s rich minerology which will go a long way for Australia moving towards a greener future. At Victory Metals we’ve found a way to unlock these Rare Earth Elements in a gentle and safe way. These elements are being ethically sourced from our home soil and not shipped in from overseas where the humanitarian, environmental, and safety standards are not always upheld.”

“Victory Metals has a vision to challenge the environmental and ethical mining standards upheld by overseas producers.”

“Adam is the heart of Australian country music and his determination to change our world right here in our backyard is the heart of the Australian spirit.” Brendan added.
