DELAURENTIS - Gnossienne No.1 (Erik Satie) [LIVE SESSION]

Adaptation of Erik Satie's famous "Gnossienne No.1".
Ableton & Erae Touch Embodme & Piano Live Performance by DeLaurentis
Video directed by Marjorie Lhomme

DeLaurentis revisits music from the past century with the technologies of
the future : artificial intelligence music tools !

She adapts and revisits in a modern way and with her electronic touch some famous classical french works from
the end of the 19th century & early 20th century : Claude Debussy, Erik Satie, Gabriel Fauré, Jules Massenet,
Camille Saint-Saëns and Maurice Ravel.
This new LP titled "Classical Variations Vol.2," follows the release of "Vol.1" in 2019.
Producer DeLaurentis used artificial intelligence tools to meet the challenge of respecting the original score
while infusing her personal touch, where the voice creates a common thread between emotion and technology.

In this new LP, she uses artificial intelligence tools developed by Sony CSL.
They are called DrumGan, Notono, Pia, DrumNet, and DeLaurentis imagines them as manga characters straight
out of Miyazaki films. Entities with whom she collaborates by transforming happy accidents into inspiration and
giving birth to new sounds. For a year, she conversed with these digital partners in the Sony CSL studio in Paris.
And since this experience, observing the behavior of these A.I has been part of her creative process.
On the variation "Méditation de Thais," she makes a virtual choir of several dozen voices sing, this time using an
IRCAM technology called "Virtual Choir," developed by Greg Beller. An experience accompanied by Ircam
Amplify. technologies allow her unlimited creativity.
As an ambassador of French Tech, she is invited to the Namm Show 2023 in Los Angeles to present the Erae
Touch instrument from the Embodme brand.
