Synthopia is a generative music NFT project created by Gramatik, Luxas, and Audioglyphs. It was built using the groundbreaking Audioglyphs DAW, a digital modular synthesizer that can be used as a tool for creating generative music. Using low-level web browser APIs it can synthesize music directly in the browser at lossless audio quality.
With the Audioglyphs DAW, Gramatik and Luxas created a song called Synthopia Prime, implemented as a signal processing graph with more than 200 DSP nodes. More than 100 parameters of these nodes are randomized, with ranges carefully designed to produce musical results.
There are 9639 Synthopia NFTs, first available in a whitelisted presale starting 12/8, with a public sale starting 12/11. Tokens include both a unique song and visuals.
Token holders have commercial rights to their song, can download the audio in traditional formats, and can download individual stems for remixing.
