Excerpted from Pink Martini's live concert at Edgefield in Portland, the band's inimitable arrangement of Ravel's famous "Bolero" was featured on the band's debut album "Sympathique," and has long been an audience favorite in concert. Filmed on a rainy day in September 2021, soon after the band started touring again after a long hiatus during quarantine, this performance features a trombone solo by Robert Taylor, trumpet from Thomas Barber, and bandleader Thomas Lauderdale (who arranged this version) on piano. This video is excerpted from an epic 3-hour concert that was also broadcast to the band's fans online.
