Elton John - Chloe

‘Chloe’ is taken from Elton John’s 1981 album, ‘The Fox’ and was written with Gary Osbourne who also sings backing vocals on the song. In a reversal of how he writes songs with Bernie Taupin (lyrics first), Elton gave Gary Osborne the title and music to write the lyrics. The orchestra is arranged by Marty Paich (Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles) and the song also features Toto’s Steve Lukather on guitar (uncredited). It was recorded at Super Bear Studios in Nice, France in 1979.

Visions, originally released on VHS in 1982, was created for The Fox & noted as one of the first long-form visual albums. The videos were conceptualised by Keith Williams and directed by Russell Mulcahy and available now officially on YouTube for the first time. Watch here: https://EltonJohn.lnk.to/TheFoxPlaylistPY
