Released on Big Eyes Records in May of 2022, "Cruel to Be Kind" closes the b-side of Griffin Anthony's fourth full-length album, The Art of Collecting. This previously unreleased stripped-down acoustic performance brings greater intimacy to the lyric and may better showcase the viscous melding of Anthony and Molly Parden's vocals.
