Elton John - The Fox

‘The Fox’ is the title track from Elton John’s fifteenth studio album, released in 1981. Elton came up with the album title and asked Bernie to write the song. According to Elton, "I phoned Bernie up and said, 'Write a song called ‘The Fox’ and try and write about me.” The track features popular session player and long-time member of Willie Nelson’s band Mickey Raphael on harmonica and is one of six songs on The Fox produced by Chris Thomas.
