‘Cold Shoulder’ is a song about falling in love with somebody who just isn’t right for you. They treat you terribly but you can’t see that because they have you wrapped up around their finger. But eventually you open you eyes, see what’s going on, and break free. You realize that you gave this person all you had, while all you got in return, was a cold heart’s, cold shoulder.
