"I think the best thing I've ever done was make mistakes. They allowed me to create the music that I'm currently creating. What I love about the Lollipops & Dagger record and the record that is coming out next is that I'm not worried or hung up on fitting into a certain genre of music. I'm just doing what I love which is songwriting and I'm working with people who allow me to express myself. Once I let go of the unrealistic expectations of being perfect, it allowed me to be who I truly am. And if I make mistakes again, oh well. I'll deal with it. This experience has been life-changing.
