“By Your Wounds” by NLC Worship finds us standing before the cross of Calvary, beholding the sacrifice of our Master and Savior, Jesus Christ. From his hands, his feet, and his side, blood and water flow like a river, a stream of redemption and healing just as Isaiah prophesied of the crushing of the Messiah, “the punishment that brought us peace us upon him, and by his wounds we are healed”. Healing not just in one way or another, but completely and wholly healed. Physical, mental, and spiritual healing can all be found at the cross and in the stripes that Jesus bore.
