IBBY NJOYA - MUSTAFA

Artist Ibby Njoya feels colour. “I see emotions. [Colour] is the way for me to translate some of the things that I can't write or find the right way to say when I'm talking,” he explains. Njoya’s vivid, whimsical practice has been quickly embraced by the fashion world in a career that began with him assisting Rhea Thierstein and since seen collaborations with Hermes, Louis Vuitton and Gucci. “My goal was to always be an artist and to have the freedom to create in any form,” he says. Colour is the starting point of the creative process – as is evident in this original artistic contribution to Fact and his celebrated commissioned art installations for 180 Studios such as Mustafa (2022)
