SOOMBRA is the acoustic facet of the Gothic legends MOONSPELL where they revisit and recreate their classics and some unexpected gems from their much-celebrated repertoire. They are accompanied by a string section @magneticstrings6555 plus a female choir. The stage set is especially designed for these one-of-a-kind shows.

A decade after a sold-out theatre tour in Portugal that culminated with an expanded version of Soombra at the Lisbon annual city party, near the monumental Torre de Belém, to an audience of more than 15.000 people where such amazing guests on stage with Moonspell such as Madredeus, Anneke Van Giersbergen and the Portuguese guitar master António Chainho. In 2012, by exclusive invitation of @wackentv (watch the full show here: h"ps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bk9JycoNqiY), they played a one-off show of Soombra to the delight of the thousands of fans watching.

In 2024 they will embark in yet another tour of the most amazing theatres in Portugal and they plan (by public demand) to record the whole tour in video and audio for a future edition in 2026 where they will try support it with a European tour in theatres and churches.
