Taken from UB40’s latest album, Bigga Baggariddim, “Gravy Train” is a collaboration with rising Jamaican star Blvk H3ro, who proves himself to be a versatile, intelligent artist, leading the way for his generation. Blvk H3ro has three tracks on the latest album, I’m Alright, Whatever Happened To The Have Nots? And Gravy Train - all great lyrics that compliment UB40’s well documented views on inequality and their reputation for social commentary. The young Kingstonian is in the vanguard of Jamaica’s progressive new wave and is relentless in his support of their cause. “Gravy Train” is a poignant example of how H3ro can change gear and pull on some of the influences inspired by his upbringing as a youth in the church, where he nurtured his interest in music and this is referenced in his energy and eclectic sound.
