'Hold Me Close When You Can' was first released through Efterklang's Developed platform in May 2021. For five days, fans and friends were invited to collaborate by using their eyes and cameras to respond to the song while listening to it. In total more than 800 people from 49 different countries participated, and their photos now form the music video for 'Hold Me Close When You Can'. The photos have been edited to the song by Matt Felstead, and the video's director credit is shared by everyone who contributed.
