NLB'S 2007 recording of Geritol Dancehall pokes fun at the old VFW Hall & Floore's Country Store in Helotes, TX. Back in the day, Nick occasionally performed @ these venues and joked about how the set list would drastically change to accommodate the regulars... (the elderly)
The tune and it's exaggerated lyrics are intended to give listeners a glimpse into what it is like to entertain senior citizens. A young country band sometimes may be out of their element with this matter...lol
