Rang Daaroongi | Official Lyrical Video | Pooja Tiwari | Hori Song

#hori #2022
Holi, the most colorful festival of India , has a special relationship with the historical region of Brajbhoomi , which is centered around modern- day Mathura. Millions of people follow Krishna's routine of throwing colors on prople's faces giving them a lesson in judging people by their actions , not their looks.
So here is a very popular folk Hori , based on Raag Peelu , which I heard from one of my my Gurus Ustad Gulshan Bharti Ji. We've tried to do something new with this beautiful composition.
Thanks Sarthak for helping me out with the lyrics.

LYRICS (With translation)

Rang daaroongi Nand ke Laalan pe
(I'll put colors on Nand's son, Krishna)
Rang Daaroongi
{I'll put colors)

Saanwaro rang , laal kar daarihun
Mal Gulaal dou gaalan pe
(I will make your dark cheeks red by rubbing Gulaal on them)
Rang Daaroongi
(I'll put colors)

Aaj na phasihun , dristi rakhihun
Gokul gaaon ke gwaalan pe
(Today I will not be trapped, I will keep an eye on the all women of Gokul)
Rang Daaroongi
(I'll put colors)
