Ray Scott is pleased to announce his 11th studio album, Billboards & Brake Lights, out November 10th 2023. "Long Black Cadillac" is the lead single from that new album and one of the most important songs from the album.
The song was inspired by a random moment shared between Ray and his wife. Ray says:
"I was with my wife walking across a parking lot after having dinner one evening, and there was an older model Cadillac hearse parked near us.. I pointed to it and kinda playfully said, "baby, that's how I'm gonna leave you." As soon as that thought came out, I immediately knew the song would be written in minutes after that."
