So, for all you Simpsons’s fans - this episode, titled “Alone Again, Natura Diddley”, was aired exactly 24 years ago today…and I got to voice a character, all thanks to David Mirkin. My dear pal, Dave, asked me to play Rachel Jordan, Christian rock singer extraordinaire! Just watch the clip. You’ll see how she stole Ned Flanders’ heart with a song for the ages.
Rachel briefly appears again in another episode where Ned tries to stir up a romance between them. But he is still too grief stricken by the death of his wife, Maude, and sadly things don’t work out. Sigh.
